What started as a hobby turned into my own little business!

My name is Ashley and I am the owner and operator of Sweet Treats RN, LLC. I'm a mom, wife, and nurse with a passion for creating delicious custom baked goods.

I started getting into creating decorated sugar cookies when I was planning my son's first birthday. A friend and I found some decorated cookies online and decided we would give it a try - how hard could it be, right? Well we quickly learned it's not as simple as it seems but continued to make them for fun as favors for my son's birthdays and other various occasions. After years of practice and working toward perfecting my recipes and techniques, I decided to take the leap and open my own cottage food bakery!

Most of what I've learned has been through practice, reading blogs, watching videos, and LOTS of trial and error. I am also so grateful for the cookie community and all the cookie friends I've made along this journey so far - we're able to share ideas, tips, tricks, and sometimes just offer the moral support necessary to survive the "cookier" life!
